Every product at GlowTerra comes with GlowTerra’s Clean Ratings, these serve as a beacon of transparency for consumers, facilitating informed decision-making aligned with their preferences and standards for clean and sustainable beauty products. We’ve kept things simple with three levels of clean: Essential, Elevated and Ultimate. This objective initiative underscores our commitment to promoting transparency and empowering consumers to make conscientious choices in their beauty regimen, fostering a culture of sustainability and responsibility in the beauty industry.

Every product that makes it into our stores is at a minimum rated Essential Clean – these are products without the Nasty Four:

• Parabens: We kindly ask our brands to skip the parabens. Let’s keep it fresh and worry-free.
• Sulfate-Free zone: We say goodbye to harsh sulfates! We pick products that cleanse without stripping away the natural goodness from your skin.
• Phthalates: We say no to phthalates! These are often used in fragrances and some plastics. We prefer products that skip these potential hormone disruptors.
• Formaldehydes: these can be harmful to your skin because they might lead to irritation, allergies and could harm your skin’s health in the long run.

Our next rating is Elevated Clean – get ready to take your clean beauty routine to the next level. These clean products are not only rid of the nasty four but are going above and beyond by either excluding avoidable ingredients like synthetic fragrances, petroleum-derived ingredients and/or including all-natural or organic ingredients.

With our final rating of Ultimate Clean , get ready to embrace eco-friendly beauty excellence with products that prioritize certified cleanliness, sustainability and positive societal impact. They meet our highest clean standards, including transparency, certifications, and robust sustainability initiatives.
